RLR/Andersen's Hildebrand Finishes Fourth
While Herrington Places Seventh
Saturday at Infineon Raceway

SONOMA, Calif., Aug. 23
- Six and four were J.R. Hildebrand's lucky numbers
Saturday at Infineon Raceway. The RLR/Andersen Racing driver started sixth and
finished fourth in the 30-lap Carneros 100 Firestone Indy Lights race, which
moved him up from sixth to fourth in the current point standings with his
Allied Building Products No. 25.

The Palmetto, Fla.-based team's other Firestone Indy Lights driver, Daniel
Herrington of Winston-Salem, N.C., finished where he started, placing seventh in
the Andersen Racing No. 5.

The RLR/Andersen Racing drivers put on the best show. Positions one through
three remained unchanged throughout the race, but Hildebrand charged by Ana
Beatriz on lap one for fifth place. The Sausalito, Calif.-based Hildebrand then
passed Logan Gomez for fourth place working lap two. He stayed in fourth
place the rest of the way, sandwiched between Richard Antinucci and Gomez.

Herrington, of Winston-Salem, N.C., chased Beatriz throughout the race, and
as the race progressed he had a closer battle with her than the other top
runners were having with their rivals. He got close several times, but couldn't
make a pass stick.

Polesitter Franck Perera led the whole way to post the victory over Raphael
Matos and Antinucci. Two full-course cautions for spins in Turn 4 slowed the
event from laps two to three and laps five to six.

The top eight finishers from Saturday's race will be inverted to set the
starting line-up for a similar event here on Sunday, with the rest of the field
following as they finished. That puts Herrington in second for the start
tomorrow, beside polesitter Pablo Donoso. Hildebrand will start fifth beside
Antinucci.

The second half of the doubleheader is scheduled to get the green flag Sunday
at 11:30 a.m.

The race distance is advertised as 69 miles, but Turn 11 was added for the
start and restarts, which will change the record books for stats.

Live timing and scoring will be available at indycar.com. The two Infineon
Firestone Indy Lights races will be shown on ESPN2 at 5 p.m. Eastern Aug. 28.

The season finale is at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill., on Sept. 7.

RLR/Andersen Racing is sponsored by Allied Building Products Corp. The team
is the official development team of Hilliard, Ohio's Rahal Letterman Racing.

The team's Web sites are at andersenracingteam.com and andersenracepark.com.

Post-race quotes follow:

J.R. Hildebrand: "It went well. The Allied Building Products car felt really
good, particularly at the beginning of the race. Then the front tires were
going off, so that was affecting me on the brakes, especially in the slower
corners. That allowed Gomez to catch up.

"We qualified with these tires. The ones we'll use in tomorrow's race have
fewer laps on them, so that should help. We'll make a couple of changes, and I
think we'll have a really good run tomorrow."

Daniel Herrington: "The Andersen Racing car was all right, but it lacked
front grip. We made a change this morning which probably turned out to not be the
best way to go, so we'll probably go back to what we had earlier for
tomorrow's race.

"I was faster than Ana through Turns 1 to 6, but she was able to get a gap on
me on the back half of the track, where there are more passing opportunities.
I could catch her on the first part of a lap, but they she'd get ahead of me
on the second half of the track.

"My car is quick on it's own; we'll try to make it better in traffic for
tomorrow."

Saturday's stats:
Final Practice (9 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.):
1. Raphael Matos, 1:23.7903, 98.947 mph
5. J.R. Hildebrand, 1:24.3658, 98.272 mph
20. Daniel Herrington, 1:26.1663, 96.219 mph

Race: (11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.):
1. Franck Perera
4. J.R. Hildebrand
7. Daniel Herrington
